Elise has two imaginary friends, Katie and Sam. They have a baby, Holly. As if this isn't all strange enough, Holly is a baby doll (that really exists). Holly and Bitty Baby are Elise's favorite.
Yesterday, as I was cooking, Elise asked to play with her play doh. I knew from experience it would be a great idea...she will really entertain herself if she has it out. She then asked for the zip loc bag of birthday candles. I gave her the bag. Off she went to her little table. (Understand, she was talking the whole time. Elise doesn't do anything without talking!)
It wasn't 20 minutes later she asked me to get the camera and take a picture of Katie blowing out her candles (that weren't lit...no, I don't let her play with fire). So, like any good mom would, I grabbed the camera and started snapping away! We sang Happy Birthday a couple of times, then Heath had to sing it with her when he came home.
Elise told me at later on that Katie had a great birthday. Glad I could capture it on film!
