Millenium Park-Snow Ball Fight and Ice Skating

We went to Millennium Park to ice skate, but there was about a 2 hour wait to get on the ice. Needless to say, we didn't wait. We walked around Millenium Park, saw the sight and the kids (and Buffy and Ryan) had a snowball fight.

We went back the next morning to skate, when there was no line! It was such fun. The kids did really well skating. Tommy, of course, just took off on the ice like he had always done it. Caroline got the hang of it pretty quickly (with many giggling falls, as only Caroline can do!) Elise had a little more difficult time, but she had her own personal "skaters" that held on to her and took her for a ride.





Ryan was so good to the kids. He gave lots of pointers on what they needed to do...and lots of "rides" around the rink. Once the girls learned that was an option, they didn't want to skate alone!

They watched the Zamboni like it was a huge toy. Every time it passed, Tommy pointed out another part of it and told us what we thought its purpose was. 



 
 
Can you tell what she thought of it? I think we were all in agreement!

    Looks like y'all had such a great time. That picture of your mom is great. She looks beautiful and happy.
