Thank You Memaw!

Elise received her card today! She was so excited and has sat at the counter and played and played!! And the $4 made her jump for joy! (Then she just handed the check to me. I will put it in her bank account for a rainy day!) Thanks Memaw. You are so thoughtful.
I guess this officially marks the beginning of her birthday (which is not really until November 3). As she was playing with her new Cinderella card, she sang, "I love my birthday, I love my birthday".

Catepillars, Eyes and Back Handsprings

Elise was out playing in the yard and brought this to me. She was so proud! Can you tell she has no fear? This was so big, I would have hesitated before picking it up, but not Elise!















 
As Tommy and Heath hopped out of the car to find a geocache, Caroline asks me to stay in the car with her and take pics of her eyes. I happily agreed, who can argue?! She is so sweet! And for those of you wondering, I didn't have the flash on. 


As Caroline was at soccer practice, Tommy decided to show off his back hand springs.

Fall Pictures

I have discovered that I truly love taking pictures. I feel like the utmost dork when I am out and about taking pics...you know, like the one on vacation wearing a fanny pack with the camera around their neck? But, I get a lot of satisfaction from taking pics, so I will just have to be a dork. And I hope y'all can bear with me, because now I have somewhere to post them!
Most of these were taken in Sewanee this weekend. We went geocaching on the mountain on Sunday. I let them search for caches, I took pics. And had a great time doing it!
